How coaching can help Depression

The stigma of mental health.

A quarter of the British population will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year, with mixed anxiety and depression the most common mental disorder in the UK. Depression affects an estimated 350 million people around the world, fewer than half of those affected receive treatment.

As a coach who previously suffered years of depression I tried various forms of counselling and therapies to find what worked for me, I am proof that coaching can be a successful tool to lift depression and turn your life from a dark cloud that is filled with tears and frustration to a life of hope, positivity and fulfilling dreams.

Depression can feel like you’re merely existing but through coaching you can start living.

Coaching offers something very different from other forms of therapies, through working with a trained coach you will work on actions and small goals to gain control back of your life. Control that an illness has taken away.
