Do you find yourself ruminating over negative thoughts, situations you can’t control, worrying what other people think?⠀⠀⠀⠀

NOW is the time to stop being dictated to by your thoughts. YOU ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS you are merely an observer of them. Below is a quick task I want you to do to prove how easily you can change your thoughts:

I want you to visual the following images clear in your mind, pausing for at least 3 seconds:

  • An old red telephone box in a country village
  • Scrambled eggs on buttery toast
  • Crisp cold glass of wine on a warm evening
  • Your dream car
  • Someone you love smiling back at you

For those few seconds I was controlling your thoughts and you can do this BUT you must acknowledge when your thoughts are making you feel frustrated/ exhausted / anxious / overwhelmed. If it’s an issue you’re thinking about that you can problem solve then action this right away, if it’s a situation out of your control, then put your mind to good use by doing something positive

As Tony Robbins says, energy flows where attention goes. You can make yourself feel energised and motivated if you chose to focus on the things in your life that have purpose
