I had the pleasure of being a sponsor for TICE organisation and I wanted to share with you a little about what they do ( coz its flipping fantastic )

They work with students from age 4 to 24 to give them a taste of what opportunities exist within the commercial creative, design and digital industries

The group I had the pleasure of working with were being introduced to illustration with the fabulous Helen Heath running the project
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Their brief was to produce a double page spread for a colouring book that can be used to help people combat stress. The project aptly named “colour me happy”. They only had 3 days to work on this and the results were fantastic. It was a pleasure to stand on the side lines and watch young children have an opportunity to get a taste for the illustration industry whilst also building their confidence to see what they can achieve. They also got a bonus little chat from little old me!

A fantastic initiative, if you hear of this being introduce in your child’s schools be sure to get your kids to jump at the chance to get involved
